Show Exclusive - HiFi Riff Live at The UK Audio Show

Boy, do we have a treat in store for you.

We have teamed up with David Price and Mike Evans of HiFi Riff to bring you a show exclusive.

Best friends for nearly 45 years, Mike Evans and David Price have been into hi-fi for almost as long. Any visit to the pub with them involves lots of audio-related banter, which is why the guys decided to launch their Hi-Fi Riff channel on YouTube, 2 years ago.

Rather than carefully structured, edited and produced videos, Mike and David just switch the camera on and go. So every Hi-Fi Riff episode is literally that, simply a 20-minute natter about whatever they want to talk about. It is never cut or changed afterwards, so it's totally authentic and unspun.

Many years after David met Mike in the late 1970s, he went on to write for, and then edit, Hi-Fi World magazine. He then become a technology writer for The Sunday Times and the BBC, then edited Hi-Fi Choice, contributed to Hi-Fi News and then became StereoNET's Global Editor-in-Chief. So he knows a thing or two about the subject. As for Mike, he's a highly successful international marketing consultant who started his career in hi-fi retail in the 1990s, and has massive practical experience of audio.

With a long history of working and playing with all sorts of weird and wonderful kit, the guys' passion and experience shines through. At the UK Audio Show 2023, they will be talking and joking about this endlessly fascinating hobby. Join them for a friendly, informal hour of entertainment, if you can.

Taking place in The Durham Suite on the first floor at 4pm Saturday only
