Naim Audio and Audio Plus Services are pleased to announce the launch of the flagship Statement amplifier system in the United States.
Demonstrated to a select group at the CES tradeshow in January 2014, Statement, the flagship amplifier system from the British manufacturer Naim Audio, will make its American public debut at the New York Audio Show. Visitors will enjoy Statement paired with Focal Stella Utopia, similar to the system used for the Remasters Launch of The Beatles MONO at Abbey Road Studios in early September 2014.
Attendees of the Coney Island Room will experience the most lifelike sound they have ever heard from a sound system.
The Statement NAC S1 preamplifier and NAP S1 mono power amplifiers are designed to supply the performance and dynamics that Naim customers have come to expect, but on an even greater scale and with the most demanding high-end loudspeakers.
Statement just doesn't deliver greater scale, but it is at heart a creation of only superlatives:
The ensemble of Naim engineers with a combined experience of over a hundred years has contributed to this ten year project.
Each NAP S1 mono power amplifier is rated at a massive 746 Watts (one horse power) into 8 Ohms, 1 450 Watts into 4 Ohms and over 9 000 Watts burst power into 1 Ohm. Each unit houses a huge 4000VA toroidal transformer. Each amplifier weighs 225 lb.
Naim has worked with the supplier of its famous 007 output transistor to produce a very special device, the 009 transistor. The 009 utilizes Aluminium Nitride (ALN) - a substrate that has ten times the thermal conductivity of traditional Aluminium Oxide. In addition, the thermal paste used to ensure good thermal conductivity to the heatsink is Nano-diamond based.
The combination of Naim Statement and Focal Utopia represent the ultimate expression of recreated music.
