After the success last year of Mike Valentine winning the “best sound” award, Mike returns to the show once again.

Many people have asked for an LP version of Chasing the Dragon. Not only has Mike produced this, but he has also just finished pressing two other new LP’s, one is a Direct Cut of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons and the other a 12” 45 RPM of a live concert recording.

Mike will be demonstrating all three LP’s, as well as, once again giving a lecture, which this year will focus on how three LP’s were recorded and cut. He will also be presenting a “liver versus recorded” demonstration.

He will be playing high res digital Master files through his Nagra HD Dac and also using his 1/2” Studer for Master tape playback.

Tickets for the lecture, which takes place at 2.30pm in the Priory Suite, will be available on a first come first served basis.
