'In 2010, after moving to Chester. Cambridge-born Singer/Songwriter Tom Jarvis made the conscious decision that music was going to be the driving force of his life up North.
After a year of gigging, supported by his lead guitarist and backing vocalist Tom Thorley-Fox, Tom Jarvis began independently writing and recording his debut EP ‘Make your own luck’.
Following its release and iTunes chart success late in 2012, this success quickly became the fuel that led to a growth of loyal fans supporting Tom when he was invited to perform at Beachbreak Live and The Beatherder Festival in 2013 along side the likes of Jake Bugg, Lucy Rose, Devlin, Dub Pistols, Clean Bandit and Aluna George.
Summer 2013 Tom followed this achievement with his second EP release ‘Dream life’ which gained huge support from BBC Introducing and led to a live interview and performance in December that year.
With this solid foundation behind him, Tom has begun 2014 with an astonishing UK University tour playing a huge 26 Universities in just 2 weeks along with support sets for Number 1 selling artists John Newman and Scouting for Girls, American Singer/Songwriter John Murry, and the massive talent that is Australian Singer/Songwriter Stu Larsen.
With the New Single ‘As soon as I can’ released and now available for download, Tom is heading back out on the open road for his 3rd UK Tour late summer of 2014.
