A MEETING OF MINDS
And yes it does happen, and when it happens in business big things can really take off. On the heels of our new National Audio show in Australia a great opportunity arose to work with some key people in the America and together develop something really special for NEW YORK. The thoughts for such a show have been at the back of our mind for some time, but without those key people to complete the line-up, it remained on the back burner.
The Team
This year it was different though, and following renewed discussions with Richard Beers of the T.H.E shows and personality Bill Leebens a meeting was arranged in Manhattan, and in the space of just three days, the stage was set. And what a team! Backed uniquely by both leading American Audio titles; Stereophile and Absolute Sound plus the best Hotel in town, no less than the Waldorf Astoria and an almost perfect date we think this could be the dream show. To be formally announced at the Rocky Mountain Show in October were we have a Suite manned by Bill; full trade information will be available within the next 7 days.
The long term plan
In the meantime contracts have been signed; a subsidiary company set up and long term plans for this great new event are well in hand, because that's what we have always been focussed on . . the very best interests of the industry and committing ourselves long term to the development of all our shows.
